Dr. Orion obtained his medical degree from the Nazarene Medicinal Institute, where he completed his residency in Neurosurgery in 2011. Subsequently, he pursued a fellowship in Microneurosurgery and Skull Base Surgery at the University. In response to the physician shortages in Ethiopia and India, he has made significant contributions by providing services and disseminating information regarding concussions and the potential long-term effects following head injuries.

Throughout his career, Dr. Orion has significantly advanced the field, having published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals, with a current h-index of 4, in addition to authoring more than 10 book chapters. His surgical expertise encompasses nearly 180 procedures, with 100 of those specifically focused on skull base tumors and aneurysms.

Dr. Orion has held various leadership roles within professional organizations, including former memberships in the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the South American Skull Base Society, the Southern Neurosurgical Society, and the Society of University Neurosurgeons.

He is married to Dr. North, a passionate Public Health Advocate and Doctoral candidate of Health Science. Together, they actively support the nonprofit organization Chastity Chyld Incorporated and The Nazarene Medicinal Clinic.
